From a wonderful winter markte to breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Birmingham is bursting with holiday cheer during the winter
season. Below is an overview of Birmingham’s major annual holiday events in December.
December 1st – December 3rd
Market Noel is a top fundraiser for the Junior League of Birmingham. Finish all of your holiday shopping in one place, in three days.
Bring the whole family! There’s even a man cave for when the dads need a break.
December 9-11, 16-23, 26-31
The Birmingham Zoo comes alive with this incredible display that includes a million lights, a 30 foot tree and snow. No wonder Santa
always has to make a special appearance.
December 10 – December 17
How would you like to enjoy a hot breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, build a snowman and create special holiday crafts. There will
even be a special showing of Santa vs. the Snowman at the IMAX Dome. Don’t forget to bring your little elves along for the fun!
December 16 – December 18
Get into the holiday spirit as you embark on a journey with Santa and his special elves. You will be transported to the North Pole
as you enjoy holiday classics such as “Deck the Halls” and “Winter Wonderland.”
A day that will make any football fan happy. Teams from the Southeastern Conference and American Athletic Conference will
compete for a victory at the 11th Annual Birmingham Bowl.
